GLOBAL COMPANY SEEKS HB STUDENTS FOR 6 MONTHS INTERNSHIP IN THE NETHERLANDS IN 2009!

Philips Innovation Lab, a global leader in consumer electronics development, is urgently seeking two student interns to assist the Director of EU Research and Development Projects in running local operations of the SHAMAN EU project. The assignment is for a maximum of 6 months per person, with two students welcome in 2009.

Philips contributes to research in SHAMAN, among others, in the areas of user requirement analysis and identification of use scenarios; design and specification of the new SHAMAN digital preservation framework; context capturing, preservation and management; archival and reuse of digital objects in the industrial design and engineering domain; demonstration and evaluation of the new framework; and industrial digital preservation technologies outreach and take-up.

This is a bold career move if you enjoy the challenge of working in a uniquely creative team in the IT industry, innovation, and/or research management and documentation!

Required skills: English as a working language, good communication, flexibility, the ability to assist project management, fluency in relevant software applications (like; MS WORD, EXCEL etc.)
